A method, not a formula
Every case depends on its facts, its evidence and its procedural stage, so we do not promise results: past results do not guarantee a future one. What follows is the procedure we apply in every matter, whatever the area.
The exact route changes depending on the area. This page explains what is common to all of them; the detail for each one is on its own page, in the "How we handle your case" section.
The first consultation
The first consultation has a fixed fee. In it we do an initial review of the matter, look at the essential documentation, explain the possible courses of action and hand over the fee estimate to continue, if it is needed.
Fees150 € for a criminal consultation and 100 € for a civil or employment one, VAT included. You can book a slot and see the rest of the fees under consultations and fees.

How we study your case
Before saying anything we review the facts, the deadlines and the documentation, and what gets looked at first depends on the area: in a criminal matter, the summons, complaint or police report; in a civil or commercial one, the contracts and correspondence; in an employment one, the deadlines (for a dismissal, only 20 working days); in an administrative one, the decision and the deadline to appeal it.
How we decide the strategy
Before litigating we check whether litigation is worth it. Part of the work is reviewing contracts, deadlines and documentation so the dispute does not arise in the first place, and telling you when a settlement leaves you better off than a judgment. When litigation cannot be avoided, it is prepared with the full documentation and a written strategy before the first hearing.
The course of a case
- Consultation. Initial review of the matter and a fee estimate to continue.
- Study. Documentation, deadlines and first steps.
- Preliminary route. Settlement, mediation, conciliation or an administrative appeal, depending on the area.
- Proceedings. If there is no agreement, a claim, an investigation or a hearing, depending on the jurisdiction.
- Resolution. Judgment or administrative decision.
- Appeals or enforcement. If the case requires it.
The detail of each step by area is on each area's own page: criminal law, civil law, employment law, commercial law and administrative law.
Who handles your case
Every matter has a responsible lawyer, with continuity in follow-up: pleadings, hearings and calls about the case, with the team coordinated. Where a dispute spans several areas of law, lawyers from each department take part, coordinated by the responsible lawyer.
